Packaging Specialist - 2nd shift (Line Operator)

Revolution Brewing is hiring a full-time Packaging Specialist here in Chicago. We have both canning and kegging lines and will cross train on both, as well as new equipment as it gets added. This is a great intro role to working in a brewery and seeing all the different departments come together. The packaging department gets our tasty beer into its final product form for the public to enjoy, whether it be a cold can of Anti-Hero or a keg that will pour Rev Pils at your favorite bar. This role sees how the beer finishes with the Cellar Crew, gets packaged by you, and then shipped out by our trusty Logistics Crew.

This shift is scheduled for 8 hours - it is a second shift that is scheduled from 1pm-9pm. This role is Monday-Thursday or to Friday, depending on the production schedule for 30-40 hours per week. We're located off the Belmont blue line at Belmont & Kedzie, and the Kedzie bus stop for both the Addison (152) and Belmont (77) lines.

QUALIFICATIONS

• At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred. If that experience is in the beverage or food industry with items such as fillers, labelers, packers and sealers, then that's a plus!
• High standard for quality, attention to detail and cleanliness is a must. At the heart of it we're a beverage manufacturer - Quality and Freshness is Core Value #3 for us!
• Mechanical knowledge on proper usage of tools and machinery. An aptitude for trouble shooting basic mechanical & electrical systems will help you out immensely in this role.
• Able to remain on your feet for a 7-9 hour shift. We provide paid breaks and paid lunch, but the majority of your time will be standing and walking. Must be able to lift or maneuver 50 lbs throughout your shift.
• Our Crew is punctual every day with flexible finishing times depending on the sanitation schedule, while working under pressure to meet shipping deadlines.
